Life Updated April 1, 2015. I continue to write about my life for anthologies, with stories in over a hundred books. In August 2014 I finished my second four-year appointment to the Washington State Medical Commission. My late husband's two enormous dogs died last year, as well, freeing me to sell the enormous country house, and move back to Southern California, where I now live in an independent senior living complex in Westminster, CA. I just returned from a trip to Italy, and will be attending a writers conference in North Carolina in May...so still traveling! Previously: After I retired from Peace Corps in Washington DC in 2004, my second husband, Ken Wilson, and I moved from Silver Spring, MD, to a three and a half acre farm outside of Colville, WA, in the far northeast part of the state.
